  • Rappel down one of the waterfalls, swim crystal clear pools, cliff jumping or explore nearby trails
  • Overnight at in a cave behind the waterfall

DAY 7:

Pacific Coast to San José

  • Breakfast at the Cave
  • Hike to upper pools to swim or cliff jump
  • Hike back to base camp
  • Transfer back to San José

DAY 8:

San José - Departure

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Transfer to the airport
  • Flight home, at this point, you should know the meaning of "Pura Vida" very well

DAY 1:

Welcome to Costa Rica

Welcome to Costa Rica! Airport Meet and Greet with private transfer to your La Fortuna hotel. We recommend arrival prior to 3 pm.

DAY 2:

Arenal

Breakfast at the Hotel. Saddle-up and paddle down! A morning horseback adventure and rainforest waterfall hike followed by an exciting afternoon of river rafting on the mighty Balsa River. Our Hike, Horse & Raft Combo Package allows you to saddle up for a horse trek through the lowland rainforest, jungle hike to the base of the powerful 70 Meter La Fortuna Waterfall, and then paddle down some of the best rapids in Costa Rica. The Balsa river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene jungle canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. This is a fantastic family tour – nature & action combined in one perfect day!

DAY 3:

Arenal to Manuel Antonio

Breakfast at the Hotel. Time for sun and fun on the beautiful beaches of Manuel Antonio! Shared transport to Manuel Antonio. Journey time 4-5 hours. In the afternoon you can check into the hotel and enjoy the afternoon relaxing afternoon by the pool or catch the sunset on the beach.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Canopy Zip Line Adventure – Glide through the trees and witness the marvel that is the Costa Rican jungle in this amazing adventure made up of a 9 line, 17 platform ride including two rappels that gives you a first-hand experience of what the jungle has to offer.

DAY 5:

Manuel Antonio

Breakfast at the Hotel. No trip to Manuel Antonio is complete without a visit to National Park. Even though it is the smallest national park in the country, it is one of the most popular ones for its stunning white sand beaches backed by evergreen tropical forests. Make sure to hold onto your gear. The park’s monkeys are notorious for up-close visits with the tourists. Your visit to the park with your private guide will give you the chance to see lots of the local wildlife and end your park hike with a lounge on the beautiful white-sand beaches.

DAY 6:

Manuel Antonio to Pacific Coast

Breakfast at the Hotel. Step outside of the ordinary! The Diamante Falls is a hidden gem and one few visits during their time in Costa Rica. Your private transfer will take you south along the Pacific Coast before turning inland on your way to the Diamante Waterfall is located in the village of Las Tumbas surrounded by lush, rolling mountains that are sometimes enshrouded in clouds.

The area, called Las Tumbas, was given its name due to the abundance of hollowed stones, once used by the indigenous peoples for grinding flour. The Diamante River flows through the heart of the valley. Two kilometers below, surrounded by 1,200 feet of cascading waterfalls, you will find the “Casa de Piedra” (House of Stone) or as the locals call it “The Cave”. This amazing open-air cavern is set behind twin waterfalls and features a full-size kitchen and comfortable sleeping quarters. In order to arrive at “Casa de Piedra” you will experience a 1.5-2 hour hike amongst the pristine cloud forest and rainforest.

Upon arrival to the cave, guests will be greeted by our warm hospitality, great food and will have unique opportunities to connect to nature. The cave, tucked behind 85-foot twin waterfalls, is amongst untamed gardens of petrified palms, primary growth forest, and an abundance of plants and wildlife. After settling in and enjoying lunch we will rappel down one of the waterfalls and then hike to lower Diamante falls/pool before returning to the cave for candlelit dinner Activities while at the cave include hiking to crystal swimming pools, cliff jumping, and exploring nearby trails!

DAY 7:

Pacific Coast to San José

Breakfast at the Cave. After breakfast, we will spend the morning with a hike to upper pools to swim or cliff jump before hiking back to the cave for our departure. After hiking out we will head back to base camp where your driver will be waiting to take you back to San Jose for your last night on the town.

DAY 8:

San José - Departure

Breakfast at hotel – Transfer back to San José to catch your flight home.
