Target a variety of species such as Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, Sierra Mackerel, Almaco Jack, and Jack Crevalle. You may also reel in Pacific Cubera (Dog Tooth) Snapper and impressive Roosterfish reaching up to 75 pounds. Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned angler, the expert crew, top-quality gear, and scenic waters make for a memorable experience on the Pacific.

Just 16 to 20 miles offshore are deep-water drop-offs where the ocean plunges from 360 to over 2,000 feet—creating a rich and diverse marine ecosystem ideal for sportfishing. These waters are known for exciting offshore action and the chance to target a variety of prized game fish.

These nutrient-rich waters are home to an impressive variety of game fish, including Sailfish, Blue, Black, and Striped Marlin, Dorado, as well as Yellowfin and Bigeye Tuna. Embark on an exciting underwater adventure with a 2-tank boat dive to the renowned Catalina Islands, just a short boat ride from Tamarindo. These volcanic rock formations are famous for their dramatic underwater topography, abundant marine life, and seasonal encounters with larger pelagic species.

Dive sites are selected based on the day’s conditions and diver experience levels, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience. Common sightings include white-tip reef sharks, rays, turtles, moray eels, and massive schools of tropical fish. From November to May, keep your eyes open for giant Pacific manta rays gliding gracefully through the blue.

Experience the thrill of scuba diving with our Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program—perfect for first-timers! After a safety briefing and basic skills practice in shallow water, you’ll head out by boat to the Catalina Islands, one of Costa Rica’s most exciting marine destinations.

Accompanied by a certified PADI instructor, you’ll dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet) and explore volcanic rock formations teeming with life. Common sightings include sea turtles, angelfish, pufferfish, eels, rays, and, during the right season, giant Pacific manta rays.

After exploring the coastline on ATVs, you'll continue through the hills toward the renowned Congo Trail. There, you’ll enjoy an exhilarating canopy tour, soaring over the dry forest on zip lines and crossing hanging bridges with panoramic views. Once the adventure ends, we’ll ride back to Brasilito.

Nestled on the grounds of historic Tempisque river, along with one of Costa Rica’s most important sugar cane plantations, is the home of “El Viejo”, an old-style Hacienda through over 5000 hectares that offers a rich cultural experience with a true traditional atmosphere and typical Costa Rican food. The hacienda house was constructed in 1881, it was owned by several presidents of Costa Rica and the Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza Garcia

Join us for the culture tour to learn about a colonial style farm that will certainly take you back in the Costa Rica history. Start at the “ox-operated sugar mill” to learn about how sugar cane was processed and the artifacts they used many years ago. Make handmade corn tortillas or take part in cooking delicious Costa Rican treats in an authentic clay oven with aromatic fresh coffee.

Our day continues with a boat ride along the Tempisque river which is a great way to observe the local wildlife. Guests usually see tropical birds, iguanas, crocodiles, and capuchin monkeys in their natural habitat Then, experience the process of producing high quality Rum from pure sugar cane. Learn about cultivation techniques, growing cycle, harvesting, milling and mashing to reach the distiller where we explain in detail the fermentation and distillation process to get the first liquors and highest purity.

Specially trained staff will greet you and help you prepare for the tour. You'll ride along lush wildlife-rich trails. Always keep your eyes peeled and try to spot deer, armadillos, raccoons, anteaters, and tropical birds. The sabanero, who will guide the parade, will use the traditional complete clothing used by the Guanacastecan ancestors to carry out this activity.

Then we go to our hacienda full of culture! Learn to make products made from corn such as the webbed tortilla, rosquillas, and homemade Guanacaste bread, in addition to enjoying the refreshing and delicious freshly squeezed cane juice from our mill, also enjoy our gourmet coffee tasting.

Experience the thrill of Skyline Canopy Tour in Guanacaste!
