TRIP DETAILS

On this Costa Rican Pacific Coast whale watching tour, you can look for pilot and humpback whales in the Marino Ballena National Park near Uvita.
Start your journey from Manuel Antonio and head south along the coast toward Uvita.
During the one-hour excursion, the guide will provide information about Dominical, Matapalo, and Uvita beaches by pointing out towns along the way.
After entering Marino Ballena National Park, you will board your boat and spend the next three hours searching for whales and dolphins along the coast.
You won’t see the stunning rock formations: Roca Ballena, Las Cavernas, Roca Viuda, and Tres Hermanas in front of Playa Ventana
During their migration through the warm waters of the Central Pacific Ocean, pilot whales and humpback whales with their young can be observed on our Whale Watching tour. If the conditions permit, you will be able to jump off the boat for a swim or snorkel.
