Río Celeste Hike
Enjoy the splendor and breath-taking beauty of Río Celeste Waterfall, and marvel at the striking blue water and changing colors of the magical Río Celeste. The milky blue color of the water at the base of the waterfall is sure to be etched in your memory.
After entering the Tenorio Volcano National Park, you will begin your moderately strenuous hike through the lush tropical forest. Although not an extreme hike, you will need to be in good condition for this trek, which includes around four hours of hiking. You will need to wear good hiking shoes as the trails can be muddy and slippery in spots. Your local, bilingual guide will help spot the interesting flora and fauna of Costa Rica and point out wildlife along the hike. You may get to see monkeys, toucans, and other birds and perhaps even some taper tracks!
This tour is not recommended for families with young children or anybody who has difficulty walking for long periods of time. The tour includes four hours of hiking, lunch, and drives time is 1.5 to 2 hours each way.
