Want a peaceful and chill hike in the depth of the rainforest?

Enjoy an easy, serene hike with your naturalist guide and experience the dense foliage inside the lush rainforest at the base of the Arenal Volcano. Inside the park, your guide will help you spot wildlife and explain the history of the volcano. You might encounter monkeys, toucans, coatimundi, or some of the large variety of bird species native to the area.

This tour is pure adrenaline mixed with spectacular waterfalls and magical rainforest trails. After we pick you up at your hotel, you will travel 30 minutes in 4 X 4 vehicles to the tropical rainforest just outside of La Fortuna in the shadow of Arenal Volcano. Along the way, you will have a chance to discover the secrets that lie hidden deep within the canyon. After arriving at the first waterfall you will rappel down from the top of the hillside into the beautiful and pristine canyon below. Rappel through waterfalls and rock-faced canyon walls, climb up the side of the cliff, do the Monkey Drop and zip-line across the canyon, rappel down to the canyon floor – this tour has it all. Action-packed and full of thrills – a must-do on your activity list for the Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area.

Just a short trek out of the canyon on a beautifully maintained tropical trail, jump back in the 4×4 vehicles and head back to the base camp for a lovely lunch!

One Day Adventure Pass (Canopy + Tubing + Hot Springs + Horseback Riding + Lunch)
Experience all the best adventures in one day! There are four main activities during this day of adventure: canopy (zip line) tour and rappelling through the Rio Blanco Canyon, a tubing adventure on the Rio Negro River with class III rapids, a horseback riding adventure, and relaxing with volcano-heated thermal waters, steam, and mud bath. The package also includes a delicious lunch at Hacienda Guachipelin Restaurant.
